Orved was the first in the world with a fully compostable vacuum bag. Bury it in soil and it is gone within one to three months, depending on temperature and humidity. In the machine it works exactly like an ordinary bag.
How quickly does the bag break down?
One to three months in soil. Warm and humid is faster, cold and dry is slower. In a typical Scandinavian outdoor climate it is at the upper end of the range during the winter months.

Four sizes – 15x30, 20x30, 30x40 and 40x60 cm – in packs of 50 bags.
Do they work as well as ordinary bags?
In the machine, yes. The difference shows in shelf life over time: a compostable bag is designed to break down, so it suits turnover within a reasonable time rather than long-term freezer storage.
